@postwait My wife started making them from scratch a few summers ago (ice cream, magic shell, waffle cone all homemade). She insists it’s not very hard, but the results absolutely obliterate the packaged version.

No anxiety over being forced to gate check or it being stuck further back than my seat. Happy to let parents or other people with special circumstances use it.
