@Verizon Support

@VerizonSupport Yes. My router itself is losing connection to the internet and showing lower than advertised speeds. No WiFi is involved in my issues.

@VerizonSupport So what is happening to get my service working correctly?

@VerizonSupport No. Your technician installed the internal wiring and it has not been touched since. That you would expect me to pay for a plan to warranty against poor workmanship on the part of your employees is ridiculous.

@VerizonSupport A network extender is not necessary. My connection to the wireless network is strong. The speed tests are running from the router itself. It is your service that is failing.

@VerizonSupport I have reset both the router and ONT, and my service is deeply unreliable, and never reaches the advertised speeds. This is absolutely unacceptable for anyone, but I work from home and rely on your service for my job.

@VerizonSupport Wired.

@VerizonSupport My new router can't get an IP address. Can you help out? I'm a CAT-5 from ONT customer, by the way.

@VerizonSupport Billing question. Can I DM?

@VerizonSupport Sounds good. Thank you!

@VerizonSupport Oh cool. Will the alarm be silenced now then?

@VerizonSupport I'm not very inclined to buy a battery for a piece of equipment that you own.

@VerizonSupport Is the battery required? My internet seems fine without it, and I have no phone or television service to worry about.

@VerizonSupport It will be 4 years as of July.

@VerizonSupport It beeped a bit, then the indicator lights went out, and then came back on. Still showing replace battery.

@VerizonSupport My ONT is beeping, and the replace battery light is illuminated. Help!

@VerizonSupport Can someone flip the switch from Coax to Cat6 on my ONT tonight? Here's my ticket from phone support: PADQ073EK9.

@VerizonSupport Same result. Tried known to be working coax, tried known to be working output on the splitter. No change.

@VerizonSupport Swapped the outputs the two boxes are plugged into. Same behavior on the same box. Now swapping coax with the modem.

@VerizonSupport The main coax from the box the fiber comes into goes to a three way splitter. Router and other TV work fine.

@VerizonSupport Didn't I pay an installer to do that for me?

@VerizonSupport Make that sixth. Let's talk about waiving charges this month. At least the DVR fees, as I've repeatedly lost all recordings.

@VerizonSupport On the forth iteration now. When does my contact become void because you can't provide a service that works?

@VerizonSupport Alright, this is getting ridiculous. Came home to a black screen today, keeps booting to "initial download" then rebooting.

@VerizonSupport They didn't know anything about that product. :-(

@VerizonSupport Any chance I can get the Media Server? I'd rather just do that rather than hope the third box doesn't run fans constantly.

@VerizonSupport It's not making any unusual noises... just the sound of the fan running constantly.

@VerizonSupport I would give anything for a quiet living room again.

@VerizonSupport After a few days, the box seems to be working fine, but like the last one, the fan is running constantly, even in standby.

@VerizonSupport Playing now… I'll keep you posted.

@VerizonSupport Really want your Media Server box. Can you just send me one of those?

@VerizonSupport The new box booted up and played TV for a bit, then shut down suddenly when I attempted to play a show from the DVR.

@VerizonSupport It was rebooting repeatedly for several minutes, and making lots of fan noise and groaning. Finally came on though.
