@tweethue Tried connecting it to the router directly with no other devices connected. Left it unpowered for 2 minutes prior. All three lights flashed once and only the power light stayed on. Left it for five minutes, no change. Warranty time.
@tweethue The router I'm using is the Unifi Security Gateway. The switch is the Unifi Switch 8 (60 watt). Removing the switch is not a permanent solution for my network, but I will try it to verify that the Bridge is indeed defective.
@tweethue No guest network. 2.4GHz and 5GHz are the same network. I do use a switch, but I have tried everything mentioned so far connected to the switch and connected directly to the router. I can't see how this can possibly be a network issue.
@tweethue I have a new router. But have had no trouble with any other device, wired or not.
@tweethue I have just tried that and it doesn't appear to have worked. I can't get the bridge to do anything, but it appears to exhibit the same behavior as before.
@tweethue I have tried assigning a static IP through my router and the bridge never accepts it. I am using IPv4, and my router does support UPnP.
@tweethue Yes. I have tried connected to the main router. I have disconnected for 30 seconds and tried again. No luck. Always shows a network connection, but never gets an IP address. DHCP is working correctly for 20 other devices on my network, including two other wired devices.
@tweethue The bridge was previously connected to the app and DHCP was enabled. I have tried several different router/switch ports and different ethernet cables. The network indicator is on, but the internet indicator is off.
@tweethue My bridge is connected to my network, but won't get an IP address from DHCP. Any ideas?
